“The Church should not be a social club dedicated to our own interests of self-enrichment but rather a training ground to equip believers to understand the wisdom of Scripture and how the Word who became flesh enables us to impact the culture in which we live, for His Glory and that of His gospel." - Globe Leadership
Leadership Philosophy
Core FOCUS
Standing firm for principles is a challenge in these times, but when a person remains resolute in a compromising culture by firmly basing his or her life on the Word of God, the world will take notice and cultures can change. Frequently time is spent training people to be leaders for the church in the church environment or we focus leaders in missions overseas but we also need to raise up people to be leaders where God has placed them in their daily lives to impact in the world around them and bring life.
Globe Values
We need to teach people how to see and in seeing develop vision and in vision understand their God given call. By broadening the lens in which we view the world through the clarity brought by the Holy Spirit, we gain directional impact.
Clarity: Ephesians 1:17-18
Have the vision to see.
John the Baptist
Paul
Persuade: Acts 28:31
Influence with passion. Our call is in boldness, purpose and to bring life. An essential part of our role as leaders if to help others see their own potential to be a blessing in the culture both at home and around the world.
Movement

Discernment: Psalm 119:66, Galatians 1:6-10
Discernment comes from the study of the Word which develops a deeper, richer, personal understanding. Interpretation is not bringing our own worldly perspective but rather growing in a deeper understanding of God's truth and being guardians of doctrine.
Solomon - Prayed for Wisdom
Deborah.
Evangelism: Isaiah 6:8
Core of true leadership. Witness comes in the form of connection that grows deeper with time and trust. Fruit bearing. Evangelism exists with proclaiming God's truth. Evangelism is teaching the gospel and teaching requires proximity, closeness, and curiosity.
Paul - Understanding the culture, but not comprising to be "relevant".
Peter - Gentiles
Directional: matthew 16:24
Leaders know their call and follow God's path forward. Become a cultural impactor, in the world but not of the world.
